It's time to change and become eco friendly, it's your future. Manufactured energy, is sure to become one of the most expensive commodities as resources start to run out, or get more costly to produce both monetarily and environmentally. This will effect home heating in a big way, in many cases it will be simply no alternative but to turn the heating down further or off completely. Today it is normal practice to turn off the heating during daytime to save costs, the result of this gives the heating plant a bigger job to do by having to reheat the entire house again in the evening. It's time to change to an eco friendly system that looks after both you and the planet. Providing your home with solar genatated warm air with night time cool refreshing air replacement Driven by the huge costs of conventional fuel, technology on solar power has come a long way over the last few years. No longer is it just about heating the household water supply, you can now use solar to provide warm air heating for your home. We offer 3 systems for household warming and cooling depending on the property and owners needs. System 1 is a method of using the loft of the house as heat storage, fed by a special solar heat collector driven by a solar turbine. This fills the loft space with hot air which is then drawn off by a PIV or MIP unit filtering the air, passing it on into the main house. The air now passing through the home is warm and dry and will distribute freely. During hours of darkness or lack of sun, the hot air in the loft will continue to provide warmth for some considerable time, normally 3 to 5 hours. (time will depend on loft size) Night time the system reverses refreshing the house air temperature. As the energy is supplied by free solar, you can leave your heating on all day and benefit from a warm dry home for little to no cost. |

System 2 is a solar heating circulating system, which works through a closed circuit. The air is heated in the solar panel and rises to the top, where is is drawn off by a solar powered extractor and fed down through the house, the cooler air is then drawn back through the system and reheated. This ensure an overall warm dry home with zero running costs. Data: During 2001, around 50% of all the domestic solar collectors installed in Austria, Switzerland, Denmark and Norway were to supply solar space heating systems, while in Sweden it was greater. In Germany, where the total collector area installed (900,000m²) was much larger than in the other countries, 25% was for solar space heating installations. Solar space heating systems have also been installed in Canada since the mid 1980's. |

System 3 is for home without loft space or access to it. This is a wall mounted unit that pumps warm dry air directly into the room. We can install solar powered air movement impellers to draw the warm dry air around the property. Running costs are zero A little background. The loft solar storage innovative solar heating system was developed in Western Australia and recently marketed to the public harnessing the warm air in the roof cavity and distributes it throughout the house. Using the expansive roof area as a solar collector, the system pumps the stored heat through ducting into the house. If you have ducted evaporative carbonisation, the system can be connected to take advantage of existing ducts and vents, or it can be installed at the same time as you install a new air conditioning system – or on its own. The system has been put through its paces for researchers at the Environmental Technology Centre (ETC) at Murdoch University during two months of testing in 2002. In one test, they compared night-time temperatures of two similarly built homes, one with the solar system and one conventional heating, it was found that the solar fitted house maintained temperatures three to seven degrees higher than the normal controlled house. The ETC concluded in its report that the product would alleviate the need for heating in autumn and spring and reduce the need for conventional heating in winter. This system was without the benefit of our Solar furnace panels on our installations which produce up to 2000 watts and 40c each, fed into the loft void which increases the heating performance many fold. |
